The history of our winery goes back more than a century, when Cavalier Francesco Borgogno started the production and sale of wine in his small tavern in Barolo. Through the generations, the passion for wine and the land was passed down to Lodovico Borgogno, who transferred his knowledge to his sons Serio and Battista. With determination, Serio & Battista Borgogno realized their dream of building a winery on the summit of Cannubi, in the heart of Barolo, transforming their vineyards into a world-renowned cru. Our philosophy is based on a simple and genuine approach to wine production, favoring respect for the characteristics of the vineyard and vintage rather than following rigid rules. We believe in the importance of combining tradition and innovation, recognizing that both are vital to keeping our winery's roots alive while evolving with time.
