Borgo Affinatori

In 2018, Barbara and Lorenzo started Borgo Affinatori in the charming historic center of Asti, transforming an old butcher store into a store dedicated to the world of cheese. This adventure stems from their deep passion for dairy products and their desire to enhance the Asti area, with the workshop and aging cellars located in the heart of Monferrato. Their philosophy is based on close collaboration with local producers and the artisanal care devoted to each cheese that arrives in their cellars. Barbara, a cheese enthusiast with a degree in Science and Culture of Gastronomy and Catering, has experience in the food industry, while Lorenzo, a cheese refiner and gastronome, has acquired skills working in the cellars of renowned Italian and French cheese refiners, bringing with him extensive knowledge in the dairy world.
