The "merenda sinoira" is a delicious Piedmontese tradition that takes place between the afternoon and evening, with "sinoira" coming from "sina," a dialect term for dinner. This time of refreshment dates back to the days when farmers, during long summer days or harvest time, would take a break between 5 and 6 p.m. to refresh themselves and continue their work until sunset.
The experience begins with a visit to the winery's cellar, where you will taste some fine wines. Afterwards, you will be given a basket to start your sinoira snack.
Prepare yourself for an explosion of flavors with a selection of typical local dishes: cured meats, cheeses, jams, breads, breadsticks, tomini al verde, butter and anchovy bread, Russian salad, raw meat, peppers with bagna cauda, cardoon flan with fondue and other delicacies, all prepared respecting the seasonality of raw materials.

Evening Program:
Your experience begins at 8:45 p.m. from the ACTV pier at the Fusina terminal, where convenient car parking is available, or at 8:15 p.m. from San Marco, in front of the Cornoldi Barracks. You will sail through iconic places in Venice, including the Storta Canal, the Giudecca Canal, St. Mark's Basin, the Giardini, the Venice Marina, and the Arsenale. You will have the opportunity to take a closer look at the Island of San Giorgio, the Island of San Servolo, San Lazzaro degli Armeni, and the Venice Lido. Continuing to the Northern Lagoon, you will discover the enchantment of Burano, Torcello, San Francesco del Deserto and Murano. With the sunset coloring the sky, the atmosphere will become even more magical and unforgettable.
The return is scheduled around 11 p.m. in San Marco and 11:30 p.m. in Fusina.
Menu of the Candlelight Dinner on Board includes a welcome drink and buffet. As appetizers you will taste the chef's cicchetti, the famous Venetian-style sarde in saor, mouthwatering bites of baccalà mantecato and a special trilogy of steamed shellfish (cicada di mare, scampi and shrimp). This will be followed by the first course: risotto alla pescatora with scampi and cascade of prosecco. The second course will be a fish grill with sea bass, scampi and prawns and seasonal side dish. To conclude dessert by the chef. All accompanied by natural and sparkling water and, of course, D.O.C. Treviso prosecco.
