Villages, vineyards and hills on the border between Piedmont, Lombardy and Emilia: this is Oltrepò Pavese, a land to discover and enjoy.
So climb into the saddle of an electric Vespa and follow the route to discover some of the most iconic places in this territory. Experience your adventure driving a ‘celebrity’ like the Vespa, here in its green and sustainable version: zero emissions, zero noise and lots of fun.
Our tour starts in Santa Maria della Versa from the ‘La Manuelina’ farm towards Casale, where we stop to admire the Count Denari estate with its landscapes and buildings.
We continue towards Donelasco, passing through the hamlet of Torrone, then along the road to Pizzofreddo and on to Golferenzo, a small village that has entered the list of the ‘100 most beautiful villages in Italy’. Strolling through its characteristic streets, you can admire the panorama of the entire Versa Valley and its villages.
We ride up on a Vespa to Volpara, where the famous Moscato wine is produced, then towards Ruini di Pometo and then Lake Molato. We then ascend towards Zavatarello, another village that has received recognition
as ‘one of the most beautiful villages in Italy’. Here stands the Castello del Verme.
The Vespa's nose turns to reach Fortunago, another characteristic village from which it is possible to admire the entire Alpine arc and Monte
Rosa.
In Fortunago, a moment of relaxation for lunch at the ‘La Pineta’ restaurant, where it will also be possible to recharge the electric Vespa.
After the stop, back in the saddle towards Borgo Priolo, passing through the Travaglino estate, then on to Calvignano and a stop at the Panchina Gigante for photos and selfies!
The last part of the tour takes us to Montalto Pavese for a stop at the Costa del Vento: a panoramic point from which you can admire much of
of the Oltrepò as well as the Po Valley, Pavia, Milan, but above all Monte Rosa.
Then we descend towards Lirio and Broni. From Broni we go towards Stradella where it is possible to visit the Accordion Museum, then we leave
in the direction of Santa Maria della Versa, returning to the hamlet of Ruinello where the Vespa will be returned.
The Vespa Tour in Oltrepò Pavese includes the possibility of following an itinerary on Google Maps to discover the Oltrepò area.
Participants are provided with an electric Vespa, approved for transporting two people, and helmets. They are also provided with an electric recharging kit, an interactive map with an itinerary to follow and recharging points along the route. Each vehicle is equipped with a mobile phone holder to follow the itinerary and a top box for storing rucksacks/bags. Each Vespa has also been equipped with a Telemetry system for remote assistance.
