Take part in an authentic grape harvest experience at Calatroni Vini, a family-run winery nestled in the heart of the upper Versa Valley of the Oltrepò Pavese.
The day begins at 10:30 a.m. with arrival at the winery. At 10:45 there will be an introductory explanation of the grape harvest, during which the history and harvesting techniques will be explained. Afterwards, each pair of participants will receive a scissors and a harvesting basket.
At 11 a.m., we set off on a leisurely walk to the vineyard, where participants will be distributed among the rows of vines to begin the manual harvesting of the grapes into boxes. The full crates will then be transported by hand to the cellar, where the traditional barefoot crushing will take place. It will be a unique experience, during which you will be able to taste the freshly pressed must. For the pressing, it is recommended to bring a small towel.
At 12:15 p.m. there will be a guided tour of the winery, an opportunity to discover the secrets of winemaking and appreciate the work behind each bottle .
The day will culminate with lunch at 13:00 at the farm's agriturismo, where you can enjoy a set menu paired with the wines produced on site.
