There is a hill overlooking the roofs of Barolo and the walls of the Castello dei Marchesi Falletti, where the neat rows of Nebbiolo seem to have been drawn by a painter, the Boschetti hill. On the top of this hill stands Cascina Boschetti Gomba, which Sergio Gomba bought in the 1990s.
'The vineyard speaks: you have to know how to listen to it': this is the philosophy that has always accompanied Sergio's work.
Great care is therefore taken in all the work in the vineyard to ensure the best of his grapes, his vines, and the terroir to obtain a unique wine, each year different but always unequalled.
The experience consists of a guided tour of the cellar and ageing rooms with an explanation of the production processes.
This is followed by a tasting of 4 representative wines of the winery (Spumante Brut Roero Arneis DOCG, Barbera d'Alba DOC, Nebbiolo d'Alba DOC, Barolo BOSCHETTI DOCG) on the panoramic terrace (only in spring and summer), accompanied by a platter of typical Piedmontese cold cuts and cheeses.
