Explore the magnificent hills of Conegliano Valdobbiadene and discover the prestigious Prosecco DOCG in the upper Marca trevigiana
On this tour, you will immerse yourself in an enchanting landscape that smells of history and winemaking tradition.
The roots of viticulture in this region go back to ancient times, with highlights such as the founding of the Scuola Enologica di Conegliano in 1876, the first of its kind in Italy, and the recognition of the Denominazione di Origine Controllata for Prosecco in 1969.
Today, Conegliano Valdobbiadene is one of Italy's 44 DOCGs and in 2019 was awarded the title of Unesco Heritage Site, thanks to the unique cultural landscape created by the work of local winemakers.
The tour includes visits to enchanting places such as the Molinetto della Croda and the Cistercian Abbey of Santa Maria di Follina, which add a touch of magic to your experience. For lunch, you will visit a family-run winery, where you will have the opportunity to taste wines accompanied by typical local products, allowing you to learn about production methods and taste the excellence of the area.
Finally, you will make a stop at a second winery to toast with a glass of Cartizze, one of the most renowned types of Prosecco in the world. This day will be an unforgettable journey through the breathtaking flavors and landscapes of Valdobbiadene and Prosecco DOCG.
